feis-logo-newLast years post on the Feis Ile 2014 bottles was a smash hit so it’s time for a repeat with a new post on the 2015 Islay Festival Feis Ile bottles!

Like last year, the festival will run from 23rd to 31st of May 2015 and with two prominent distilleries, Ardbeg and Laphroaig, celebrating their 200 year since (official) foundation year, its bound to be a very interesting and exciting festival.

This post will detail all the available information on the festival bottlings and I’ll update it each time more details will be revealed.

    Hi,
I was looking back at your 2014 bottlings and there was one other very special Kilchoman bottle, the Kilchoman Single Octave, Islay Pipe Band 60.5% – 126 bottles – £75. “We are doing a special bottling as sponsorship for the Islay Pipe Band. This bottling is a Fresh Bourbon cask 461 of 2008, bottled at 60.4% ABV (Cask Strength). These bottles are available from the DISTILLERY ONLY from Monday the 20th May and throughout Feis week. Please note payment for these bottles is to be by cash or cheque only. Bottles will be £75….It is a unique bottle and should be very collectable….”
Sadly, I can’t be there this year.
    An islay Malts fan.
